PODLIN at STATE: This Lion Swims

Last Saturday, Kaia Podlin  propelled Bremen High School to 23rd place at the IHSAA Swimming State Championships.  Competing in the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke, Kaia finished as the state’s 11th best swimmer in both events.  Kaia celebrated the last official swim of the season by breaking her own school record in the breaststroke.  The

Podlin Makes Waves

 Picture by Ron Haramia Bremen’s Kaia Podlin will travel to the Indiana University Natatorium in Indianapolis and compete in Friday’s 2021 IHSAA Swimming State Tournament.  Kaia qualified in both the butterfly and breaststroke during last Saturday’s South Bend Riley Sectional. Lions Cruise Sectional Waters

  Bremen Girls Swimming & Diving participated at the South Bend Riley sectional last Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Representing one of the smallest swimming schools in the state, let alone the sectional field, the Lions impressed all with an overall 5th place finish in the final team scoring.  Leading the way for the Lions was
