2020 Wrestling Awards

The wrestling program continues to grow and the future looks bright in terms of both numbers and success on the mat.  Participation did not improve by lowering the expectations but just the opposite.  The wrestlers continue to hold themselves accountable to the highest of standards.  Forbes Magazine published an article titled “WHY WRESTLERS MAKE THE BEST

Bryce Battle-Tested

Bremen freshman, Bryce Darmer, advanced to tomorrow’s East Chicago Central Semi-State in the 106 lb. weight class by placing 4th at last Saturday’s Penn Regional.  Bryce carries an overall record of 25-8 as he looks to punch his ticket to State on Saturday!  Good Luck Bryce!!

Grapplers Take Next Step

After qualifying at last Saturday’s Plymouth Sectional, Bryce Darmer and Richard Samuels both advance to tomorrow’s Penn regional starting at 9:30 a.m.  Bryce competes in the 106 lb. weight class and carries a season record of 24-6.  Richard takes his record of 26-6 to tomorrow’s 220 lb. weight class.  Whip’em Gentlemen!

Winter Sports Awards Program – March 16 in Gym A

The Bremen High School Winter Sports Awards program will be held on Monday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. in Gym A. All participants in a winter sport will be recognized and refreshments will be served.

Darmer All-NIC

Bremen Wrestling competed at the Northern Indiana Conference tournament held on Saturday at Mishawaka High School.  The Lions were led by Bryce Darmer who earned All-NIC 2nd Team by finishing 2nd in the 106 lb weight class.  Congrats Bryce!
