The Bremen High School Winter Sports Awards program will be held on Monday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. in Gym A. All participants in a winter sport will be recognized and refreshments will be served.
Boys’ Basketball plays in their first home game of the season against Argos. Games begin at 6:00 p.m.
After recently playing in the McDonalds Michiana High School All Star Basketball game, Matt Box was recognized as Burger King’s Outstanding Student-Athlete for his prowess on the football field, basketball court and in the classroom. The sixth annual McDonald’s® Michiana High School All-Star Basketball Games will be played tonight at Bethel College in Mishawaka. Matt Box will be representing Bremen on this 18-player squad and becomes the 3rd BHS basketball player to be selected to this prestigious team. The girls game will begin at 5:00 p.m. and the boys game will begin
Senior Matt Box broke the milestone of 1,000 points scored this season and ended his BHS basketball career as the 2nd leading scorer in school history. He moved past Bremen’s Adam Mark who set his mark in 2000 with 1,134 points. Box’s tally of 1,147 points is second only to 1994 Bremen graduate, Corey Reed,

The Northern Indiana Conference has recently named its Academic All Conference selections for the 2016-17 Winter Sports Season. To be selected, student-athletes must meet the criteria of being a senior, a varsity letter award winner and have at least 3.50 or higher cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
