2018 Girls Basketball Awards

Feldman an All-Stater

The Indiana Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) recently named Karlee Feldman to their 2017-18 Subway All-State Team for underclassmen.  Karlee was recognzied with All-State Honorable Mention honors for the 2016-17 season.  Head coaches from across Indiana nominate worthy candidates and a panel of 20 IBCA coaches meet to review the nominations, vote and finalize their selections. 

NIC Honors Bremen Girls Basketball

The Northern Indiana Conference recently announced its 2018 All Conference selections for girls basketball.  The Lions finished conference play at 7-5 and an overall record of 12-12.  Bremen’s Karlee Feldman averaged a double-double on the season scoring 19 points a game and recording 13 rebounds per contest on her way to NIC 1st Team Honors. 

Girls B-Ball Sectional Brackets Slated

Bremen Girls Basketball will play the winner of Westview – Central Noble in the semifinal round of the 2018 IHSAA basketball tournament on Friday, February 2nd.  Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.  If victorious, the Lions will play for a Sectional Championship on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.  All games will be played at Central Noble

TCU W.B. Hawkins Honors

Jacob Strehler and Kaelyn Shively represented Bremen High School Basketball as its nominees for the prestigious W.B. Hawkins Award.  Candidates were introduced on Saturday during the championship games of the Teachers Credit Union Bi-County Basketball Tournament.  Kaelyn and Jacob were recognized for their sportsmanship, academics, community involvement, citizenship and extracurricular activities including athletics.  Congratulations Kaelyn
