The Bremen girls track team closed out a hard working preseason on Saturday at the Bulldog Invite on the campus of Purdue Fort Wayne. The girls competed in the open class, which was composed of 14 other schools. Many new faces joined the girls team this year and got their first taste of high school track and field.

Highlights of the meet included the girls 4×400 of senior Brylie Libey, sophomore Lauren Miller, and freshmen Zoey France, and Caroline Bickel finishing 7th overall. Libey also took 10th in the high jump. Raven White tied for 2nd place in pole vault in the open division. France also took 12th in the long jump while senior Rachel Hall finished 11th overall in the 3200 m run.

The girls will take on local rivals LaVille and Glenn next week on Tuesday at LaVille with a start time of 5 pm.
