On a sunny, albeit wind cooled Saturday morning, the Lions travelled to US 6 rivals Northwood. Through the wind and many tough battles in the different events, the boys came out on top for their 2nd straight dual meet victory.
Perhaps the most important moment of the meet came before any competition started when the boys and girls captains were able to gift a $2,000 check to Norm and Kim Sellers through the generosity of the Bremen school community that supported a Bremen Track fundraiser earlier in the year. As Kim continues to battle cancer, the Lions are with her all the way!
First place finishers for the boys were Evan Manges in the HJ and 110 hurdles, Justin Zumbrun in the LJ and 300 hurdles, Evan Yoder in the 100/200/400 meter dashes, Aaron Young in the 3200 meter run, and the 4×100 relay team of Brady Ginter, Wyatt Pollard, Lennin Diaz, and Zackary Miller.

The boys look to continue building their team success at New Prairie on Monday with a meet start time of 5:30 pm.
