Official Practices Start Monday, August 3rd

Official fall athletic practices for Bremen High School start on Monday, August 3 (Girls Golf – Friday, July 31).  In order to participate at the first official practice, you will need to submit an Athletic Participation Permit to your coach.  Without it, you will not be allowed to practice.  How do you get a permit?  Submit

Coach Bunge Celebrates With Team

The patriarch of Bremen Football, Coach Don Bunge (front and center), celebrates his birthday with the 2015 Lions.  After a day of camp, players and coaches shared a popsicle with the legendary coach who turned 92 today.  Coach Bunge told the team that he is anticipating not a good season but a great one.  Coach rarely misses a practice

Future of Bremen Lion Tennis

Coach Brita Miller and the Bremen Youth Tennis team traveled to the Warsaw Racket Club and competed against the Tigers for 3 hours of matches.  Keep up the good work!

IHSTCA Academic All State Team Named

The Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association recently announced its 2015 Academic All State Team.  Recipients must play at least 50% of their schools’ varsity tennis matches, must have at least a score of 1100 on the 1600 SAT, 1650 on the 2400 SAT or 24 on the ACT.  Players must also carry a grade point average of 3.60 or higher. 

Roberto Gonzalez Signs With Grace College

Roberto Gonzalez has signed a letter of intent to attend Grace College located in Winona Lake, Indiana where he will continue his soccer career and study nursing.  Roberto served as captain on the Bremen High School Soccer team and was a 4-time varsity letter winner.  During his career, the boys soccer team compiled a record of 53-14-5 and captured 4 Northern

BHS Athlete Meeting – August 10, 8:00 pm

There will be a student-athlete meeting on Monday, August 10th in the Bowen Auditorium at 8:00 pm. Beau Beeson Signs With Bethel College

Beau Beeson has signed a letter of intent to attend Bethel College located in Mishawaka, Indiana where he will continue his track and field career and study Engineering. BHS Baseball Meeting – July 7th @ 4 PM

All boys interested in playing BHS baseball during the 2016 spring season are invited to Open Field at the high school diamond on Tuesday, July 7th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.  Offseason throwing and hitting programs will be demonstrated and information regarding the 2015-16 baseball program will be discussed.

Volt Payments Due By June 30

BREMEN ATHLETES CURRENTLY UTILIZING VOLT:  The 1-year annual membership fee of $10 is due in the Athletic Office by June 30. Those currently on a Volt team roster and have not paid the $10 membership will be removed from the Volt program at the end of June. Volt is an online, long-term program that provides individualized training
