Bremen freshman, Bryce Darmer, advanced to tomorrow’s East Chicago Central Semi-State in the 106 lb. weight class by placing 4th at last Saturday’s Penn Regional.  Bryce carries an overall record of 25-8 as he looks to punch his ticket to State on Saturday!  Good Luck Bryce!!

Good luck to Bremen Girls Basketball at Saturday’s Regional hosted by Winamac High School.  The Lions face the Andrean Fighting 59’ers at 11 a.m. (EST).  If victorious, Bremen will play the winner of South Central-Adams Central for a Regional championship at 7:30 p.m.  If you can’t make the game, WYMR – Max98.3 FM will be

The athletic office is selling girls regional basketball tickets for $10 through Friday afternoon.  Don’t wait in line on Saturday in Winamac…..pick up your tickets in Bremen!  T-shirts are also available for $10.  Go Lions!!

The Northern Indiana Conference recently announced its 2020 All Conference selections for girls basketball.  The Lions finished their conference season with an NIC record of 8-4 and captured their first sectional title since 2004.  Erin Coffel became a 2-time selection to the NIC 1st Team after receiving Honorable Mention during her freshmen and sophomore seasons.

Cancellations for tonight due to the predicted weather later (2/12/2020): 5th-grade girls basketball game at Akron has been canceled. No practice. 7th/8th girls basketball practice has been canceled. MS wrestling practice has been canceled. 6th-grade girls basketball WILL practice after school until 5 pm.

Given the pending inclement weather for this evening, tonight’s Akron-Bremen 5th grade girls basketball game has been canceled.

Bremen Girls Basketball will face the Andrean Fighting 59’ers in the Class 2A regional semifinals on Saturday, February 15th @ 11:00 a.m. (EST).  The second semifinal game with South Central and Adams Central will start at the conclusion of Bremen’s game or approximatley 1:00 p.m.  Saturday’s regional championship game is scheduled to tip-off at 7:30
