Proud is the only word that comes to mind when I think of this game. We finally did it! These girls won the first ever sectional championship in PK’s to bring home the trophy to their school and their town. Our MVP of the game is Alexa Santillan for her crazy saves and great leadership throughout this match. All of our seniors stepped up and played their heart out. We could not have asked for a more perfect fairytale ending of a night. The entire team stayed focused and strong for 80 minutes, 14 minutes of OT, and PK’s. The Lady Lions will host LaVille for their first Regional game at home at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday October 16th. Come out and support these incredible girls! 🦁💚⚽️ Alexa Santillan had 16 saves this game! Taylor Rodriguez and Londyn Grounds were the two girls to make their PK’s!
