Bremen Athletics

The Lions of Bremen traveled to Wawasee to take on the Warriors in a rematch of game 2 in the pre-season invitational held at Northwood this summer. The Warriors were a much improved team and proved difficult to break down at first. Using its squad depth to keep intensity high, Bremen was able to find its first goal in the 18th min as sophomore Alex Gallegos found senior Jared Alvarado. The boys found the net a second time toward the end of the first half and then twice more in the second half. A rotating group of Bremen players on the defensive line and two keepers were able to keep a clean sheet on the night.
