Bremen Athletics

Bremen Cross Country traveled to LaVille on Thursday night. The competition included 5 teams: Knox, Granger Christian, Benton, LaVille and Bremen. Both the boys and girls teams finished in 1st place for the Lions! Maz Winters once again was the overall winner for the boys. Cam Krallman (5th), Gabe Kline (6th), Camron Urbina (8th) and Tony Loomis (9th) joined him in the top 10. Greyson Jacques and Elliot Schrock both set a personal best this evening. Bremen’s girls were led by Brailyn Mammon who finished 2nd overall. Joining her in the top 10 were Anna Brady (4th), Emma Roberts (5th), Brooke Thomas (6th), Claire Miller (8th), Bea Farbaugh (9th) and Emmy Varner (10th). The girls showed great sportsmanship before the race by inviting LaVille's only runner to join their team huddle. LaVille's teammates were injured, sick, and traveling and they didn’t want her to be alone. LaVille’s runner ended up as the overall 1st place finisher for the meet. Bremen will travel to compete in the New Prairie Invitational next Tuesday.
