Bremen Athletics

Bremen hosted Elkhart Christian Academy and Career Academy for a middle school cross country meet on Tuesday evening. Despite warm temperatures, both athletes and spectators were grateful for the low humidity and coolness of the shade. The Bremen boys were once again led by overall winner Maz Winters who ran the 3k race in 10:58. Other top 10 finishers for the Lions were Cam Krallman (5th), Gabe Kline (6th), Camron Urbina (7th), Kollyn Lee (8th) and Tony Loomis (9th). Personal bests were set by Drew Klingerman and Brockston Waldron. As a team the boys pulled out the victory over Elkhart Christian 27-30 (Career academy didn’t have enough runners to qualify). The Bremen girls finished in 2nd place out of 3 teams. Top runners for the Lions were Braelyn Mammon (4th), Anna Brady (5th), and Emma Roberts (8th). Personal bests were set by Emma Roberts, Emily Makalira and Reese Yoder. The Lions will travel to LaVille on Thursday for their next meet.
