Bremen Athletics

In another rendition of the Marshall County derby, the Lions of Bremen headed to Argos to take on the Dragons. The rivalry that has been built up through nearly twenty years of competition, including multiple sectional championships, promised to be another battle. The Lions started off strong, but couldn't find the back of the net in the first half. As the team struggled to connect throughout parts of the game, Argos was able to take advantage of a transition moment to score first in the second half. The Lions fought back after going down and were able to find the tying goal on a defensive mistake by the Dragons. Although Bremen would have a major possession and shot advantage through the last 20 minutes, they were unable to capitalize to win the game. Bremen will host LaVille tomorrow in a conference matchup that will be the Bremen Senior Night for 6 players; Andy Miranda, Emilio Garcia, Jared Alvarado, Alex Barerra, Lincoln Martinez, and Remington Elliott. Kick off is 5 pm with Senior Intros at halftime.
