Bremen Athletics

The ROAR of the Bremen Lions can be heard in many different sport locations throughout a school year, but on Wednesday night, the Mighty Lions took their energy and commitment to the Feed My Starving Children meal pack event at Nappanee Missionary Church. During the event, over 100 Bremen athletes and coaches, representing 7 different teams, helped pack over 400 boxes of Manna Pack food that will provide 87,000+ meal servings, ultimately providing a year's worth of meals for 300+ children and families that would otherwise not have food. The Lions worked with volunteers from many other groups and locations for their shift from 7:30 - 9:30 pm. It was an incredible sight to see so many athletes and coaches give of their time and energy, especially knowing they had final exams the next day. The joy in the room was undeniable as chants and cheers went up from the table groups signifying another box was packed and ready to ship with lifesaving food.
