Bremen Athletics

The Bremen Lions saw their season come to an end Friday night, falling to the Eastside Blazers 41-13 in the second round of Sectional 34. The Lions struggled to contain the Blazers’ rushing attack throughout the night. Defensively, Matt Bogunia forced a fumble that was recovered by Derek Miller to create a takeaway for the Lions. Offensively, Logan Moser connected with Jace Pippenger for a touchdown pass, while Pippenger added another touchdown on the ground. Axel Mendoza Martinez was perfect on his extra-point attempt, going 1/1 on PATs. The Lions finish the season with a 7-4 record. While the season didn’t end the way we hoped, we are incredibly proud of the effort, commitment, and hard work these players put in throughout the year. Thank you to the Bremen community, parents, families, and fans for your tremendous support all season long. Your support does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful to have such a great community behind our program.
