Girls Cross Country Earns Runner-Up Finish at Northern States Conference Meet The girls cross country team enjoyed a beautiful day to compete at the Indiana Northern States Conference meet, finishing second out of three competing teams. The team had several strong performances and plenty of reasons to be proud as they turn their attention toward the postseason. Grace Moyer led the way, winning the conference championship outright and earning Conference MVP honors for her outstanding performance. Emma Waidner, Corinne Muck, Lauren Hartsell, and Grace Moyer also earned All-Conference honors, recognizing their strong seasons and performances on the course. Charlotte Rink and Emma Waidner added to the team’s success with season-best times. While the team came up short against John Glenn, the girls earned a victory over Jimtown and showed the competitive spirit they have carried throughout the season. With individual honors, season-best performances, and a strong team finish, the girls have plenty of momentum to carry into the postseason. The team will look to build on these performances as they prepare for Sectionals next Saturday, where they will take the next step in their postseason journey.
