The Lady Lions lost a tough sectional first round game tonight to Elkhart Christian Academy 3-2. This game was extremely competitive and full of action. The Lady Lions did not walk out of this game victorious, but they left everything they had out on that field tonight. We are extremely proud of their effort tonight especially as these ladies did not stop fighting for eighty minutes. This is not the way that we wanted our season to end of course, but there are some positives that came out of this game. The Lady Lions will be back better than ever and even more hungry next year! As always, Go Lions 🦁⚽️💚 Goals Scored: Shiloh Grubert for ECA in the 5th minute Allyson Gonzales in the 15th minute (From a free kick) Saghan Schlabach from ECA in the 20th minute (From a free kick) Sophia Sahlhoff in the 22nd minute (Assist from a free kick by Allyson Gonzalez) Saghan Schlabach from ECA in the 67th minute Alexa Santillan had 16 huge saves tonight. This lone senior and captain will be missed beyond words. Thank you for a great four years #22.
