Girls Cross Country Wins at Jimtown/Benton The girls cross country team came away with a team victory Monday evening at Jimtown, competing against both Jimtown and Benton. The team was led by another strong performance from its front pack, while the depth of the team helped secure the overall win. The girls finished with a team average of 23:43 for the 5K. Two runners recorded season-best performances on the night. Beatrice Farabaugh improved to 26:21, while Emma Waidner ran a season-best 25:15. Both continue to show steady progress as the season moves toward the championship portion of the schedule. The girls will now turn their attention to Thursday’s John Glenn at home for Senior Night before preparing for the upcoming conference meet.
