Varsity vs John Glenn High School Win The Bremen Lions delivered a complete team performance Friday night, defeating the John Glenn Falcons 40-0. The Lions offense was led by Jake Rodriguez, who connected with Matt Bogunia for a passing touchdown and added two rushing touchdowns of his own. Jace Pippenger also found the end zone on the ground. Aaron Jimenez came up with several key receptions throughout the night, helping keep the Lions offense moving and sustain drives. Special teams played a major role in the victory. The Lions recorded two blocked punts, while another John Glenn punt attempt resulted in a snap sailing over the punter’s head on 4th down, giving Bremen excellent field position. Axel Mendoza Martinez added to the scoring, going 2-for-3 on field goals and 4-for-5 on extra points. Defensively, the Lions were dominant, holding the Falcons scoreless from start to finish. Bremen’s defense forced several fumbles and recovered two of them, including a scoop-and-score touchdown by Jace Pippenger. It was a complete effort in all three phases as the Lions earned a 40-0 shutout victory over the John Glenn Falcons.
