Varsity vs Jimtown (22 - 44) Loss The Bremen Lions battled the Jimtown Jimmies on Friday night but came up short, falling 44-22. The Lions struggled to find consistency offensively throughout the game, but they continued to battle and found the end zone three times. Matt Bogunia hauled in a touchdown pass from Jake Rodriguez, while Logan Moser and Rodriguez each added rushing touchdowns. Rodriguez also connected with Bogunia for a successful 2-point conversion. Axel Mendoza Martinez was perfect on extra points, going 2-for-2. Turnovers proved costly for the Lions, giving Jimtown favorable field position throughout the night. The Bremen defense was repeatedly forced to defend short fields, making it difficult to keep the Jimmies out of the end zone. The Lions return to action next week at John Glenn.
