Bremen Athletics

On Tuesday night, the Boys' Soccer team was anticipatig a great match against Glenn for their second conference game of the season. The JV game was delayed early in the second half due to lightning with Bremen beating Goshen 3-1 at the time of delay. As ligthning continued to impact the area, the JV game was called at that point and the wait began for the varsity game. After sheltering for about an hour and a half, the teams were finally able to take the field for a shortened warm-up to get the game started around 8:15 pm. The late start didn't dampen the intensity as the game was played at high speed with lots of scoring opportunities. The Lions' got their first goal about 20 minutes in and then a second just minutes later. Glenn would get a score back with a minute remaining in the first half and then the Lions' responded again forcing an own goal with a second remaning in the half. The second half saw more intensity, physical play, and scoring chances, but the game stayed at 3-1 to the final whislte.
