Varsity vs Bethany Christian (3 - 2) Win Varsity vs Wawasee (3 - 2) Win Varsity vs Fremont (5-0) Win Bremen hosted their annual tourney on Saturday September 12. In the first round Bremen defeated Bethany Christian 3-2 with Riley Tener winning a tightly contested #3 singles match to seal the victory as the final match to complete. Chase Devine and Bryce Miller won at #1 and #2 singles. Wawasee defeated Fremont in round one 5-0. In the second round Bremen defeated Fremont 5-0. Chase Devine, Bryce Miller and Riley Tener won in singles. The teams of David Monesmith/Lincoln Heiter and Leonidas Cruz/Will Leman won in doubles. Bethany Christian defeated Wawasee in round two 4-1 in a long close match. Bremen played Wawasee in the final round of the day. Chase Devine and Bryce Miller won handily at #1 and #2 singles. Wawasee won both doubles positions. Riley Tener was again the last match on. Riley won 6-2, 6-1 to win the match (and the tournament) for the Lions. Bethany Christian defeated Fremont 4-1 in round three.
