The Bremen Lady Lion golfers showed up today ready to compete, and their hard work and determination were on full display! Bremen finished 3rd with a 477, with Knox shooting 482 and Jimtown 487. John Glenn finished second with a 412, while Tippy Valley led the field with a 387. But the biggest story for the Lady Lions today wasn't just the team score—it was the tremendous improvement from the entire team! As a team, Bremen improved by an incredible 53 strokes! That kind of improvement is a testament to the work these girls are putting in every time they step onto the course. Jimena Nava led the way with a 114, improving an incredible 25 strokes from her previous round at Pretty Lake. The round was also a new personal best for Jimena! What an outstanding accomplishment! Kaylie Creighton also had a fantastic day, shooting a 117 and improving 15 strokes from her previous round at Pretty Lake. Her score was another personal best, showing just how much she continues to grow and improve. Maddie Jordan carded a 117 and was just inches away from her first hole-in-one! What an incredible shot and a moment she'll remember for a long time! Lili Cullen had a fantastic milestone of her own, shooting a 129 in her first-ever 18-hole match while shaving 15 strokes off her score! What a tremendous accomplishment and a great sign of things to come! Rounding out the group was Lia Waidner, who shot a 131, improving 7 strokes from her previous round. Lia continues to improve with every round and is showing what happens when you keep working and believing in yourself! The Lady Lions may not have posted the lowest team score today, but they showed something that matters just as much—heart, determination, and improvement. 53 strokes better as a team. Personal bests. Huge improvements. A near hole-in-one. A first 18-hole match. That's a team that is getting better!
