Bremen Athletics

Bremen hosted Urey, Benton, and Trinity in a 3k middle school cross country meet at Jane’s Park on Thursday night. The start time of the race was delayed an hour to allow temperatures to cool off a little bit. The athletes pushed through the warm evening to have a great race! Bremen’s girls team finished in 2nd place (41 points) as Trinity took 1st with 34 points. Finishing in the top 10 for the Lions was Anna Brady (3rd), Emma Roberts (7th), and Braelyn Mammon (8th). The boys team finished in 3rd place (55 points) as Benton took the win with a tie breaker over Trinity (each 42 points). Finishing in the top 10 for the Bremen boys was Tony Loomis (3rd) and Camron Urbina (4th). The Lions will host Triton in their last home meet of the season next Wednesday, September 9th at Jane’s Park.
