Bremen Athletics

The girls cross country team competed in a four-team invitational Tuesday evening and showed continued improvement, recording six season-best times. The team lowered its average from 24:56 last week to 23:56 tonight. Gracey Moyer led the team with a 20:40 followed by Lauren Hartsell at 22:38, both season bests. Emma Waidner also ran a season-best 26:28, while Charlotte Rink improved to 28:30 and Beatrice Farabaugh ran 29:04, with both recording season-best performances. The girls continue to make steady progress early in the season, with tonight’s six season-best performances and improved team average providing plenty of positives to build on. The Lions will be racing this Saturday at McCormick Creek for the Northwood Invitational.
