After beating Northwood in the morning game of the Northwood Invite, the Lions would take on Manchester in the Championship match. This was an opportunity for the team to win a historic first Northwood Invite Championship after having numerous close calls in the past. With much senior leadership and experience, the team came out playing some of their best passing of the young season and dominated the game from start to finish. The defense held the Squires to 0 shots on goal for the game while the Lion's offense was firing on all cylinders scoring 6 goals, 3 in each half.
