Bremen Athletics is excited to announce the hiring of Aaron Herder as our new Head Varsity Girls Soccer Coach - Pending Board Approval. Coach Herder is a graduate of Maconaquah High School, where he was a member of a sectional championship team. He brings a strong passion for the game and a commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field. Aaron is US Soccer Grassroots Certified, CPR Certified, and currently serves as Vice President of the Bremen Soccer Association. In addition to his involvement in soccer, he is an active volunteer at his church and with the Bremen Holy Walk. We are excited for Aaron to utilize his strengths in player development, communication, mentorship, and fostering a growth mindset as he helps bridge the gap between our youth soccer programs and our high school athletic program. His vision and dedication to the sport will be instrumental as we continue building a strong foundation for the future of Bremen Girls Soccer. We look forward to building upon the momentum of last season's IHSAA State Runner-Up team, and we thank former head coach Ricardo Reynoso for leaving the program in such capable hands. We are also excited to see our outstanding assistant coaches continue their work within the program as they help lead our student-athletes toward continued success. Coach Herder shared the following statement regarding his appointment: "Soccer has always been an important part of my life. Through coaching younger kids over the past few years and being a part of the soccer board, I've enjoyed helping grow the game in our community. I'm excited and honored to take the next step as Varsity Girls Soccer Coach and continue investing in the players and program that make Bremen soccer special!"
