The Bremen Boys Golf team honored five seniors Tuesday night as they competed against Riley in a hard-fought match. While the Lions fell to Riley 198-213, the evening was about much more than the final score as Bremen recognized a senior class that has brought leadership, personality, and dedication to the program. Leading the Lions was senior Collin Loomis, who carded a team-best 51. Loomis has been known throughout his career for his calm consistency and steady presence on the course. Lincoln Burks followed closely with a 52. Burks has brought an outgoing personality and positive energy to the team throughout his time in the program. Hunter Cannon shot a 53 and has been recognized for his memorable “team cap” persona and leadership among teammates. Fisher Young added a 57 for the Lions. Young’s fun personality and ability to keep the team loose and smiling will certainly be missed next season. Henry Varner rounded out the scoring with a 60. Varner’s witty spirit and sense of humor have made him a valued teammate and an important part of the Bremen golf family. As the season continues, the Lions know these five seniors have left a lasting impact on the program both on and off the course. Bremen Golf thanks Collin Loomis, Lincoln Burks, Hunter Cannon, Fisher Young, and Henry Varner for their dedication and contributions over the years.
