The Lady Lions of Bremen Track and Field took a trip to LaVille on Wednesday evening to compete in the 2nd INSC Championship Meet. The girls were primed and ready after a superb regular season and focused training heading into the competition. Despite the cold temperature and higher winds throughout the meet, the girls competed with skill, strength, and resilience to earn their second straight INSC Championship! It was a total team effort in which each place and point mattered as the win came down to the final event in the 4x400 relay. Grace Moyer scored a critical 8 points in the 3200 which set up Sara Sahlhoff, Lola Bender, Kate Kincaid, and Emma Kincaid to capture the team championship with their winning relay as they remained undefeated in the outdoor season. The Lions ended the meet with 9 event Champions. Senior captain Emma Kincaid powered to victory in the 100 dash and then went on to win the 400 and 200 dashes while anchoring the 4x400 to become a 4-time INSC Champion. Her 25.93 in the 200 was her second fastest ever, even running into strong headwind, and her fastest ever time on FAT.
