Bremen Athletics

The Bremen Lady Lion softball team travelled to Knox on Tuesday for a INSC game & were out hit 14 to 8. The Redskins scored 7 runs in the first 3 innings after two outs in each frame. The Lions started their come back with a run in the 4th and 4 in the 5th closing the score to 7-5. Knox added 5 runs on 5 straight hits in the bottom of the 6th. The Lady Lions put the ball in the play in the top of the 7th adding 2 runs to cut the deficit to the final score 12-7 Eliana Grubbs suffered the loss from the circle, but did lead the team with 3 hits including 2 doubles. Makenzie Shumaker had a pair of hits collecting a pair of RBI. Isabella Calentine, Mady Milleman, & Karla Arias each had singles. WP – C. Barnes – 5.2P, 2R, 0ER, 4H, 7K, 1BB, S.
