The Mighty Lions of the Boys Track and Field team traveled to Kouts High School on Saturday morning to compete in the 8 team Kouts Invitational. The Lions were looking defend their previous two team championships, but knew it would be a new challenge with many athletes competing in the event for the first time and experiencing the challenge of trials and finals for the first time. Throughout the meet, many different boys produced their season best efforts and many more had their best ever times and distances. By the end of the meet, 4 Lions were individual event champions while all 3 relay teams secured champion performances and the team had amassed a more than 70 point win! This was the 3rd consecutive Kouts Invite team championship for the boys.
