Bremen Athletics

The Lady Lions of Bremen Track and Field took the long trip to Kouts High School on Saturday morning to compete in the long-running Kouts Invitational that features a total of eight teams. This year's event would feature two other dominant girls teams with Morgan Township and Kouts providing incredible competition. The girls left it all on the track, in the ring, and on the runways as they fought for every possible point in an attempt to secure a team championship. In the end, Kouts was able to pull out the victory, but along the way, many Bremen athletes produced season best and personal best efforts. Senior captain Emma Kincaid had an incredible performance winning 3 individual events and anchoring the winning 4x400 relay in an blazing fast 57.16 second split. Kincaid's win in the 100 meter dash was one of the closest of the season thus far as her lean at the finish line secured first.
