The Bremen Lions varsity golf team reached a significant milestone in their latest outing, posting a team score of 186—marking the first time this season they’ve broken the 200 mark. While the Lions ultimately fell to Knox, who shot an impressive 165, the round represents clear progress for the Bremen squad. Leading the way for the Lions were Ethan Borsodi, Ethyn Britton, and Hunter Cannon, each carding a 46 to pace the team. Miles Greene followed closely with a solid 48, helping Bremen secure its team total. Despite the loss, the performance highlights the team’s continued improvement, even as they dropped their first conference match of the season. On the junior varsity side, Bremen found more success, defeating Knox 214–236. Fisher Young led the JV Lions with a standout round of 46. Henry Varner and William Leman each contributed scores of 53, while Lincoln Burks rounded out the scoring with a 62. With a breakthrough performance now under their belt, the Lions varsity team looks poised to build momentum as conference play continues.
