On Saturday, girls varsity tennis hosted a 4 team tournament with Mishawaka High School, Mishawaka Marian, and Northridge competing. The Lions narrowly missed winning the championship, falling to Northridge 3-2. In the last match, the 1 Doubles team of Addison Wright and Corinne Muck, playing their best match of the season to force a third set tiebreaker, while battling through an injury and ultimately falling 10-7. The Lions had strong wins against both Mishawaka schools. Emma Lawmaster and Lila Meyer both went undefeated for the day, to continue their great starts this season. The team now stands 4-2 on the young season. Next up is a big conference match at Tippy Valley on Tuesday.
