Thursday night the girls tennis team hosted John Glenn in the conference opener and came away with a hard fought 5-0 win. At 3 singles, Kinsey Greenawalt won a two hour, three set match. The 2 doubles team, Brinkley Gratrix and Brailynn Jones, also won a tough three setter. 1S Emma Lawmaster 6-1, 6-0 2S Lila Meyer 6-0, 6-0 3S Kinsey Greenawalt 6-3, 2-6, 6-1 1D Addison Wright & Corinne Muck 7-5, 6-1 2D Brinkley Gratrix & Brailynn Jones 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 Match winners for the JV were Cali Butler and Brooke Bellman. Next up for the Lions is the Bremen Tournament on Saturday morning at 9am. Varsity is hosting Mishawaka Marian, Mishawaka High School, and Northridge. The JV will be at the Plymouth Invitational starting at 9:30am in Centennial Park.
