Bremen Athletics

The Bremen Lady Lions Softball team traveled to Akron on Thursday night taking on the Tippy Valley Vikings. With the score tied at two thru 4 innings, the home team scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 5th after a few Lion miscues, with Valley coming away with a 8-2 victory. The Lions were out hit 11-8, but Valley’s clutch hits were the difference in the score. Eliana Grubbs had a pair of doubles for the Lions. Peyton Reed (double), Peyton Johnson, Karla Airas, Aubri O’Keefe, and Lili Cullen had a hit each for the Lady Lions. Eliana Grubbs suffered the loss from the circle allowing 8 runs, 4 earned while striking out 4. WP -D Bussard 7IP, 2R, 2ER, 8H, 11K, 1BB, 1HBP LP – E.
