Bremen Athletics

The Lions of the Boys Track and Field team headed to Middlebury for the first time to take on Northridge and Westview, two teams that carry state and even national level talent. The meet was run as a double dual, pitting the Lions against each team separately for scoring. The team was looking forward to the test as a way to grow competitiveness throughout the season and challenge themselves against some of the best track and field athletes in the state. Numerous athletes also had the opportunity to race against Westview's Noah Bontrager, a national level athlete who recently won the New Balance National meet while breaking the 4 minute mile with the 7th fastest high school indoor time in US history. Many Lions had PR performances during the meet and will look to continue that momentum in practice preparing for their home meet on April 14 with Knox.
