The Bremen Lady Lions Softball team took an early 2-0 lead against the Blackhawks from Westville on Monday night, but came up short in 8 innings by a score of 8-4. After scoring a run in the bottom of the 7th to tie the game at 4, Westville added 4 runs in the top of the 8th & held on for the win. Eliana Grubbs continued to pick up hits with two & scored two more runs. Bella Calentine , Makenzie Shumaker, and Peyton Reed had 2 hits each. Karla Arias & Aubri O’Keefe each added hits for the Lady Lions. Eliana scattered 8 hits from the circle, struck out 8 and only walked two in the loss.
