The Lady Lion Softball team played much better defense in Game 2 on the young season, but could not outhit & outscore the Panthers of Northwood losing 10-5 on Saturday in Nappanee. Eliana Grubbs scored 4 runs collecting 3 hits including a double & walk. Younger sister Maycee had a pair of sacrifice fly balls picking up 3 RBI. Madi Milleman had a pair of hits, Makenzie Shumaker and Bella Calentine, each had hits for the Lions. Faith Hostetler scored in the 7th inning after an Aubri O’Keefe single. Bremen JV lost 4-3.
