Bremen Girls Softball team was not able to muster a single hit against Central Noble's pitcher Grace Swank as she fanned 17 Lions hitters. Bremen's loan run came on a lead off strikeout by Eliana Grubbs who reached first on a passed ball. She was able to reach 2nd 3rd and home on wild pitches. The Lions defense was not able to help losing pitcher Grubbs as well as Maycee Grubbs on several occasions allowing Central Noble to take advantage of opportunities scoring 14 runs on 16 hits. Bremen JV won 5-3. Bremen plays at Fairfield this Thursday with Varsity starting at 5:30 with JV to follow.
