The lady lions 6th grade team traveled to Tippy Valley Middle School Thursday to close out their regular season. In the A game, the lions got off to slow start and got behind early. In the second half, the girls showed some fight, but ultimately lost 34-7. Scoring for the lady lions was Rose Meister with 4 points including shooting 2 for 2 from the free throw line, and Mila McKinney with another 3 pointer. In the B game, the girls struggled offensively to get anything going throughout the game despite numerous shot opportunities and lost 18-2. Scoring for the B team was Melanie Aguayo with 2 points. The lady lions 6th grade teams will travel to Laville Saturday to play in the end of season tournament.
