Bremen Athletics

The lady lions 6th grade team traveled to Fairfield Monday evening. The A team got off to a slow start but battled in the second half. The falcons zone defense proved to be to much for the lady lions, ultimately losing 32-9. Scoring in the A game was Rose Meister and Emmie Bellman each with 1, Emma Roberts with 2, and leading the way was Mila McKinney with 5 (including a 3-pointer!). In the B game, the lions and the falcons battled back and forth all game long, ultimately taking the game to an 8-8 overtime. After there was no change in the overtime, the teams agreed upon a tie game. This was a very intense game from the start! Scoring in the B game was Cami Godoy with 6 and Melanie Aguayo with 2. The lady lions will finish the regular season at TIppy Valley on Thursday before their end of season tournament at Laville on Saturday.
