Bremen Athletics

The Bremen 7th grade girls team played their best game of the season tonight vs Urey and won 36-26. The Lions got off to a fast start scoring 18 in the first quarter while the defense limited the visitors to 3 points. Scoring for the lions: Peyton Rodriguez 16 Jayde Atkins 6 Addie Farabaugh 4 Milayla Bettcher 4 Anna Brady 2 Josie Wildauer 2 Braelyn Mammon 2 Bremen’s 8th grade hosted Urey in a battle of unbeaten conference teams. The Lions fought back from an 8-1 deficit to take the lead early in the 2nd half. Although the Lion’s effort on defense remained high, their offense couldn’t get going and Urey pulled away for a 25-12 victory. Leading the Lions in scoring was Mallorie McManis with 9 points. Blakeleigh Soliz added 2 points, and Brooke Thomas had 1 point. The 7th and 8th grade teams would like to thank all those that came out and created a great atmosphere! The Lions will travel to Argos on Saturday morning for a 10 am game.
