The 6th grade girls basketball team traveled to Manchester Wednesday night. Both A and B teams were unable to come back with wins yesterday. The A team lost 19-8 and the B team lost 16-5. Both teams battled throughout the game, but they were unable to get consistent momentum. Scoring for the A team was balanced with Rose Meister, Lilly Krumrie, Mallee McCray and Mila McKinney each with 2 points. Scoring for the B team was Sydney Maggert and Melanie Aguayo each with 2 and Sandra Cruz with 1. The lady lions are back in action Thursday at home against North Liberty.
