Bremen Athletics

The Bremen 6th grade girls basketball team traveled to Riverside tonight looking to get back on track. The A team put up a fight all game long, but were unable to come up with the win, losing 23-9. The team did a much better job playing team basketball and several girls were able to contribute offensively. Scoring for the A team was Nadia Walter, Emmie Bellman, and Emma Roberts each with 2 points, and Rose Meister with 3 points. The B team played great team basketball also and played hard all game long. They were able to come back with a win 14-11. They too had over half of the team in the scoring column tonight! Raquel Cruz, Kensington Ferguson, Sandra Cruz, Cami Godoy, and Majellie Sandoval all scored 2 points each, and Sydney Maggert led the team with 4 points. With the win the B team improves to 3-3 on the season. The young lady lions will return to action as they travel to Manchester next Wednesday for a 6 pm. tip off.
