Bremen Athletics

Bremen 6th grade girls basketball returned to action tonight at home against Wawasee. In the A game, the lady lions fell behind early, but continued to fight all game long. The lions struggled to get much going offensively and lost 27-6. In the second half, Bremen was able to play better team basketball with passing and finding open shot opportunities. Scoring for the A team was Rose Meister with 4 and Mila McKinney with 2. In the B game, Bremen was able to get off to an early lead and keep the momentum going all game, bringing home the win 24 -13. The lady lions played great team basketball by passing and finding the open shots. Many of the girls were able to contribute to the score but everyone contributed offensively tonight! Leading the way was Cami Godoy with 6, followed by Melanie Aguayo, Sandra Cruz, Kensington Ferguson, and Sydney Maggert all with 4 each, and Jayda Griffith with 2. Lily Siefer had great shots and even got to the free throw line! Holly Wrightsman and Majellie Sandoval also were able to get some good shots only playing a quarter due to the band concert tonight! The lady lions will be back at home against LaVille on Thursday at 5 pm.
