Semi-State Overview: Date Saturday, February 14, 2025 Host School/Location John A. Baratto Athletic Center East Chicago Central High School 1100 West Columbus Drive East Chicago, IN 46312 Wrestling Schedule: Round 1 (Four mats): 10:00 am EASTERN / 9:00 am Central - start time Quarter Finals: Immediately following Round 1 Semi-Finals: Immediately following Quarter Finals Consolation/Finals: Following the 30-minute lunch break after the Semi Finals end Fan/Spectator Information: Gates will be open at 9:00 am EASTERN / 8:00 am Central for fans/spectators. All Fans and Spectators must enter through Door F to proceed to the ticket gate. Note: Parents, fans, and spectators will not be admitted at the team entrance and will not be admitted before 9:00 am Eastern / 8:00 am Central Fan parking is available: o On the southeast side of the school, off Columbus Drive. o On the north side of the school, next to the Fitness Center. o At Carrie Gosch Learning Center, on the northeast corner of Indianapolis Boulevard and Columbus Drive (overflow parking). o Note: No parking in yellow or red striped areas. Staff will be available to direct. Admission $12 per person for the semi-state tournament. Children 4 years or younger are admitted free. Advancing contestants, student manager, coach, assistant coach, athletic trainer, athletic director, and principal shall be admitted free. Athletes not advancing must pay admission. Please stay off railings. No folding chairs allowed on the floor between bleachers and railings. Limited seating on the first floor will be available for mobility-impaired fans only. Coolers: Only teams are allowed to bring in coolers for student athlete use. Coolers must be brought in by the team at the time of check-in. Parents or others are not allowed to bring coolers in for the team. Wrestlers with individual coolers will be allowed in the stands.
