Bremen Athletics

The 5th grade girl's basketball team hosted Mentone this evening. After a slow first half, the Bremen girls were able to score in the second half. Natalie Gonzalez led the team with 4 points while Olivia Cunningham and Emma Urbina added 2 more each. All the girls played great for their first game! The B team put up a 16-6 win this evening against Mentone. The girls came out aggressively from the start and were led by Lydia Horner and Amelia Beery. Both girls scored 5 points. Emma Urbina added 4 more points along with Maggie Griswold's 2 points. The entire team showed great attitude and grit to take home their first win. Both teams look forward to traveling to Argos on Tuesday at 5:30.
