Bremen Athletics

The 7th grade girls played an exciting overtime game vs Plymouth tonight but came up just short in the end. After getting down early the girls showed some grit and fought back to take a 4 point lead late in the 4th qt. A couple bad bounces didn’t go our way but overall the girls played hard and did everything the coaches asked. The 8th grade girls basketball team knew they had a tough challenge against a very good Lincoln team. The Lions played together on defense and showed toughness and heart in a 38-18 loss. Mallorie McManis led the team in scoring with 10 points. Blakeleigh Soliz drained two 3’s and scored a total of 8 points while also navigating numerous double teams. Both the 7th and 8th grade teams will play a tournament at West Noble on Saturday.
