The 7th grade girls basketball team had another successful road trip Wednesday night at New Prairie winning 25-12. The Lady Lions pulled away in the 3rd quarter after a tight first half. Strong help defense and forcing the Cougar guards to go left limited them to 12 points! Scoring for the lions were: Peyton Rodriquez 11 Mihayla Bettcher 6 Josie Wildauer 3 Addie Farabaugh 3 Gianna Muck 2. The 8th grade girls team played great team defense in the 1st half holding New Prairie to just 13 points. However, in the second half the Cougars caught fire and earned a 39-20 victory. Mallorie McManis led Bremen in rebounds with 6 and steals with 2. Blakeleigh Soliz led the team in scoring with 5 points. Brooke Thomas was a standout on defense with her energy and hustle. The girls will have their first home game Thursday, Feb 5th vs Plymouth.
